Sandy’s been keeping a big secret

Our very own Sandy has been awarded a British Empire Medal in the King’s Birthday honours. The nomination was for ‘services to Business and to the Voluntary Sector in Norfolk and Suffolk’.  

Sandy said “I am thrilled to be honoured with this award, it was such a lovely surprise.  I am very happy to accept it on behalf of all the small and micro businesses which make up the beating heart of the East Anglian economy, and which are so important to innovation, employment, skills and diversification in the region.  I have really enjoyed seeing so many wonderful businesses flourish and grow through my time with New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership which has been instrumental in helping them with their growth and funding needs.”

We are all so proud of Sandy and are looking forward to her wearing her medal every day in the office.
