Granny’s Chicken and Avocado Salad
Fry some lardons of British bacon then set to one side. Take a couple of little gem lettuces and any other salad leaves such as chard, oak leaf, lambs lettuce etc wash and arrange in a bowl. Add torn pieces of cold roasted or poached chicken along with the asparagus and lardons, and throw in some pine nuts and ripe baby cherry tomatoes and roughly chopped avocado.
To finish, pour over Granny’s Original Dressing, and sprinkle over some grated parmesan cheese. Now tuck in! Yum yum!
