Seville Orange Marmalade with Cognac
£4.00
Using our delicious recipe for our Seville Orange Marmalade, we pour in a slug of Cognac just before bottling for a little bit of luxury in a jar.
As well as your breakfast conserve, use as a baste for baked ham. Sharpen up a roasted duck by drizzling this over halfway through cooking for a succulent, sticky meal. Just Add Food!
200g. No allergens.
Special Fact: Once distillation of cognac is complete, it must be aged in Limousin oak casks for at least two years before it can be sold. As the cognac interacts with the oak barrel and the air, it evaporates at the rate of about 3% each year, slowly losing both alcohol and water. This phenomenon is called locally la part des anges, or “the angels’ share”.
Seville oranges (56%), sugar, Grand Marnier Extract 50% (1%).
No allergens.
