Scotch Bonnet Chilli Jam


A hot version of our award winning Sweet Chilli Jam.  If you like chillies, then this one’s for you.  We’ve added a handful of Scotch Bonnet chillies for a real kick. There is literally nothing this doesn’t compliment. As opposed to the classic Chilli Jam which has sweet overtones, this version is for those of you that can handle some heat!

Great in just about any sandwich or toastie. For a classic snack spread a generous amount on one slice of bread, sprinkle cheddar cheese (or your favourite) over then top with another slice of bread. Leave it to golden for 5 minutes in your toastie machine or under the grill and enjoy the best possible comfort food.

Alternatively, it is delicious with sausage rolls, beef burgers, steak sandwiches, fried chicken and more!  Just spread a generous amount over before eating.

If you are wanting a quick and tasty starter, our chilli cocktail sausages (you can use vegetarian sausages as well) are the most moreish appetizer you will taste. Heat the oven to 2ooc. Cover the bottom of a roasting tray with tin foil and place the sausages in the tray, spreading the chilli jam over the top evenly – don’t be afraid to get your hands in there!

Place in the oven and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the sausages are hot in the middle and the chilli jam mixture is bubbling. Allow to cool and then simply enjoy!

You can also mix it into mayonnaise or cream cheese for an instant dip with crisps, crudites, prawns, pitta bread, tortilla chips and more!
