Proper Punchy Piccalilli
We’ve been asked so often if we could make a proper traditional Piccalilli that we have finally put our aprons on and come up with a crunchy, punchy, munchy version to tickle every tastebud. Packed full of vegetables and spice, it’s sensational with pies, ham and cheese and its beautiful colour brightens up any plate.
200g. Allergens: mustard
Special Fact: The first known record of the name ‘piccalilli’ is in 1772 by a Mrs Raffald in her cookbook, who gave a recipe for making ‘Indian Pickle or Piccalillo’.
