Our take on the popular classic. This is the Emperor of dressings -tangy, smooth and packed full of flavour. Made with cold pressed English virgin rapeseed oil and a hint of lemon juice this dressing is the perfect addition to any salad, cold meat, lunch bowl, mashed potatoes or as a dip!
For an easy chicken Caesar salad simply oven cook boneless chicken thighs at 165c for 20-25 minutes, chop up new potatoes into bite size chunks and place in a saucepan, bring to boil then simmer for 10-15 minutes until cooked through. Place bacon rashes in a pan and cook for 10 mins until crispy and chop up. Slice your bread of choice (we recommend sough dough) into small squares and place on a baking tray, drizzle rapeseed or olive oil over the top and toss until coated, sprinkle over a pinch of salt and place in the oven for about 5 minutes until golden.
Add your salad leaves, avocado and cherry tomatoes into a bowl and mix. Slice your chicken thighs into strips and add them as well as your potatoes and bacon. Serve into smaller bowls, top with croutons and finally drizzle over our Caesar Dressing for a family friendly meal, great for any day!
For a hearty meal, peel a bag of all purpose potatoes, chop up into chunks and place in a pan. Bring to the boil then simmer until cooked through. Drain your potatoes and allow them to steam so excess moisture is removed. Gradually add a generous amount of butter, cream and milk with a pinch of salt. Then, add 150ml of our Caesar Dressing and mash until smooth and creamy. Serve with your favourite meat and vegetables or just itself!
